PORTLAND, Ore. (July 30, 2026) – The Portland Thorns announced today that midfielder Jennie Immethun has joined Angel City FC on a free transfer, allowing the 21-year-old to join her new side effective immediately. Immethun’s short-term contract with the Thorns was set to expire on July 31.
Immethun joined the Thorns in preseason as a non-roster invitee, impressing the technical staff and earning her spot on the squad with a short-term contract through May and then another extension through July. With the Thorns, Immethun was able to make her professional debut in a 2-0 win vs Bay FC and later logged her first career start in the 4-0 victory against Racing Louisville FC. In total, she tallied two starts in four appearances.
