Calzada signed a two-year contract with the Thorns in January 2026. Before her professional signing, she played for both Texas A&M (2022-2025) and Notre Dame (2025).
In her time at Texas A&M, she recorded 54 appearances and 54 starts. She achieved Texas A&M Newcomer of the Year and All-SEC Freshman Team in 2022. In 2023, Calzada was named Texas A&M Defensive MVP and made the All-SEC First Team. In her last season for Texas A&M, she made the All-SEC Second team back in 2024.
Calzada has shown her potential through her college accolades and looks to make an immediate impact for the Portland Thorns in her first professional season.
