(June 25, 2025) – From continental tournament football to competitive exhibitions, Portland Thorns FC will have 11 players representing their nations over the next month in the upcoming FIFA Women’s International Window. The international break runs from June 23-July 5, with the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO (July 2-27) and 2025 CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina (July 12-August 2) also taking place this summer.
A scheduled breakdown for each country in which a Thorns player has been called up for is listed below, organized alphabetically by country.

Midfielder Hina Sugita and the Japanese Women’s National Team have a big test against the reigning Women’s World Cup champions Spain before they head to the 2025 EAFF W-Cup in search of their fifth trophy and first since 2022.
Stateside, midfield duo Sam Coffey and Olivia Moultrie are back with the U.S. for a series of matches against the Republic of Ireland before taking on a Canada side spearheaded by Thorns midfielder Jessie Fleming and forward Mimi Alidou. The Canadian pair will face off against Costa Rica Canada before taking on the USWNT. Rookie defender Jayden Perry was also called up for the USWNT U-23 Camp in Colorado that will run concurrently with the senior USWNT’s first match.
Goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold will look to make her return to play with Australia after recovering from a leg injury sustained in May. She’ll do so alongside defender Kaitlyn Torpey who has scored once in each of her last two call ups.
To roundup the list of international Thorns, defender Reyna Reyes is back with Mexico for a pair of matches against Colombia.
